Who We Are

Our History:

Born and raised in Detroit, MI, our founder, Aaron (A.J.) Ellison II, saw first hand the challenges that men, young and old, have to face on a daily basis. So on August 31, 2015, when God put Men of God Undertaking Leadership (MOGUL) Foundation on his heart, he knew this was something he had to do. After graduating from Michigan State University in May 2016, A.J. began working in Corporate America. Feeling unsatisfied in life, he finally realized his purpose and incorporated MOGUL into an official Nonprofit Organization on April 24, 2018, in Detroit, MI. After a year of successful events, A.J.'s newfound career in Real Estate led him to Atlanta, GA in September 2019. Thus, starting a whole new chapter for MOGUL.

Our Mission:

There is a dire need for positive, good men in this world. At MOGUL, our mission is to develop men mentally, physically, and spiritually into positive leaders within their community. Through mentorship and our 7 MOGUL Characteristics; Love, Integrity, Humility, Courtesy, Wisdom, Confidence, and Discipline, we help men become wholesome Men of God. We focus on improving the quality of life for men by providing them with the tools, resources, and mentorship needed to better themselves so that they can help uplift and sustain their communities.

Our Purpose:

Our purpose is in our Motto; "To Learn & To Teach. To Protect & To Provide. To Lead & To Serve. In God & With God." We want our involvement in the community, especially at-risk communities, to have a positive impact on people's lives. We focus on making the maximum positive effort for our community with the help of our members, volunteers, and other contributors who provide the momentum needed to keep us going. Our community is full of people who want to help and people who need help. Along with our mission, we also work to help the people providing services with the people who need them.
